Question for you
Off Topic:
Have you turned off your land line and now use cell phone only? If so, have you been satisfied since doing this? I've considered doing this but worry that turning off the land line will result in all the telemarketing calls coming to my cell phone, which I don't want. If you've done this, leave a comment here or email me to let me know what you think. Thanks! :)

Since moving to the US I've not had a landline at all, and I don't recall the last time I had a telly marketer call me.
I could be a fluke, but I've been happy.
I haven't had a land line for a year and a half and I'm doin' fine. I think it's all just a matter of finding the right cell phone plan. I think I pay $40 a month for unlimited incoming calls, and then my evenings and weekends are free. I'm at work for the times during the day that I would call someone, and then outside of that, I have 100 anytime minutes that are used up during the month if I call someone between 8am and 7pm. So far I haven't gone over $40. I had a plan that was reasonable, but I always ended up paying like $100 on my bill because I'd always call outside of the free time. If you work a monday to friday kind of job, I'd say just do it, but if not, look around before you decide just to make sure there's a plan that would fit with your lifestyle.
